Taking pictures of your family is a MUST!  I am always taking pictures with my iPhone or my little Point and Shoot.  But making the investment in professional pictures is something a can't stress enough.  Seeing your family through someone else's eyes is heartwarming.  When we had our family photographs taken by my dear friend, Deb, last year, I can't begin to describe the wave of emotion that came over me.  She saw the real Maxwell...the real US!  It was perfect.  This year we will be doing it again with a professional who also happens to be my neighbor.  And better yet...I got to photograph her family first!

So here they are, The "A" Family.  We headed to the coast and enjoyed sunset and family giggles on Humarock Beach.  It was amazing!  I don't need to tell you how much love is in this family...you can see it below :)

I can't wait for our shoot, Katie!!!

Aubrey

September has been nothing short of CRAZY!  I was so glad I could end it with my best friend, Nicole.

A Baby Shower | Newburgh, NY

23 love

This weekend I made the trip down to Newburgh, New York, to celebrate Nicole and her little baby.  I have been planning this shower since THE DAY Nicole told me she was expecting!  I was just so excited to start pinning and crafting.  None of this shower would have happened without two of the most amazing mothers, Anita and Nancy.  Wow, they can sure throw a fantastic party!  I was able to snap a few images, but mostly I wanted to celebrate my best friend and her baby boy...or girl!!!

Congratulations Nicole!  I can't wait to meet your little bundle of joy ;)

Much Love,
Aubrey

Today we are celebrating Kellie & Aubray's first anniversary!

Kellie & Aubray Anniversary | Newport, RI Wedding

16 love

A: It's been a whole year since your wedding!! Can you believe it?

K+A: No! It is unbelievable how fast this year has gone by. We can't believe this time last year we were on the count down to our big day!

A: What is your favorite moment from your wedding day that you are still talking about?

K+A: Our Wedding Weekend was filled with so many intimate memories it is truly difficult to choose just one. What we often talk about with our friends and family was how gorgeous the ceremony was. The location, the perfect weather, and the beautiful pictures were just perfect.

A: What is the most exciting thing to happen to you as a couple in the last year?

K+A: The most exciting thing that has happened for us had to have been our honeymoon we took late after the wedding in November. Two weeks traveling the Caribbean Islands, specifically St. Barts, was amazing. We cannot wait to go back!

A: I am all about tips!  Any tips you would like to share with newlyweds about their first year of marriage?

K+A: Our number one rule is communication. It is important to stay connected and talk about what is going on in your life, whether it be work, family, or friends. As we have found out our careers are keeping us exceedingly busy so date night is key.

A: Year two is just as exciting!  What are you looking forward to in the upcoming year?

K+A: We have some more fun weddings to look forward to this year! We are also planning on doing some traveling, to Europe and also some smaller trips to explore more of the West Coast. We are looking forward to our Anniversary and another wonderful year together.

Congratulations on an exciting first year!  Wishing you all the best in year two!!

Much Love,
Aubrey
