Aubrey Greene Photography

Just a couple years ago I had this goal of getting published...anywhere...haha.  Then I decided I was better than that.  My work and my clients work deserved to be showcased in only the best of the best.  With just the slightest change in my approach and goals, something pretty spectacular happened.  I started getting published in some of the top wedding blogs in the world!  Yes, world!  While I owe a lot to my amazing clients for creating such beautiful events, I also owe a huge thank you to Two Bright Lights for creating a centralized location for creative professionals to share and showcase their work.

And with that, I am so honored to be receiving the 2014 Editor's Choice Award from Two Bright Lights!  This award is given to the top 5% of published photographers and vendors in the worldwide Two Bright Lights community who have demonstrated superior quality of work for their clients and have submitted authentic, stunning imagery to the top industry publication and editors.

Yes, I am so incredibly honored and a little bit giddy!  Thank you to Two Bright Lights, the amazing editors at all the fantastic wedding blogs and of course to my clients :)  You are all pretty spectacular!

Much Love,
Aubrey

I am so grateful for amazing vendors, and Stoneblossom Floral & Event Design is certainly one of them.  They were so kind to showcase Ally & Mike's Stone House wedding on their website.  They did some of the most amazing florals I saw all year!  You can check out the feature HERE.

This morning I woke to birds chirping and the warm sun shining brightly through my blackout curtains.  I could feel Spring, it was finally here!  ...until I realized it was birds nesting in my ceiling and I forgot to close the curtain the night before...  Wake up fail!  But alas, it will be in the 50's today and I get to go on an adventure...through my ceiling ;)

Nina & Pierre | Hyatt Regency Boston Wedding

Late last summer I had the honor of assisting Lexi Photography at Nina and Pierre's wedding.  They got ready and the posh Hyatt Regency Hotel in Boston, which was super fitting for this fashionable group of guys.  We met up at Our Lady of the Cedars in Jamaica Plain for a beautiful and extremely toasty (I totally wore the wrong dress that day!) ceremony.  All portraits took place at the Arnold Arboretum, which is one of my favorite places for family session, so I was super excited to be photographing a wedding party there.  It's so nice to change it up :)  Once back at the hotel, the most beautiful and exciting reception began.  The traditional Lebanese dancers started the evening off, then they carried Pierre in on their shoulders.  Nina followed in shortly and the two families danced together for pretty much the rest of the night.  Honestly, they only stopped for a few minutes to eat.  Such a fun event!

Much Love,
Aubrey
