Last week my husband came to me and said..."we need a mini-cation!"  He's a professor and school just got out, I was wrapping up a crazy Spring wedding season and Maxwell was all finished with his swim and gymnastics classes.  So off we went!

A Family Mini-Cation | Cape Cod, MA

Our hotel left a lot to be desired, but it was oceanside and my boys has a blast playing on the beach.  Honestly, that is all that matters.  I loved watching the two of them hunt for shells and other treasures.  We also took Maxwell to play mini-golf for the first time and it was pretty much the cutest thing EVER!

No matter how crazy life gets, it is important to remember what truly matters.  Even though our two nights on the Cape were sleepless, uncomfortable and at times, chilly...my family means everything to me and it was wonderful to just be with them and watch them smile.

Much Love,
Aubrey

This weekend I traveled down to New Jersey for Liz and Brian's beautiful wedding at Mountain Lakes House in Princeton.  Many years ago, I traveled down to the Princeton area regularly for work, but never did I get to experience the beautiful scenery of this nature preserve.  And I can't forget to mention about the most amazing bridesmaids dresses...EVER!  I added an extra image because they are just too pretty to miss ;)

Happy Monday Everyone!

I had a rare weekend off from photographing a wedding, so Team Greene snuck off for a quick little family vacation.  It was so much fun to sit on the beach and watch Maxwell play in the sand.  Just a nice little respite before I pack up again and head off to New Jersey for another wedding.  But before I hit the road, I've got a beautiful Hyatt Regency wedding!

Lauren & Michael | Newport Hyatt Wedding

Lauren and Michael got married on Goat Island in Newport at the beautiful Hyatt Regency.  When I walked in, all of Lauren's bridesmaid were sitting in the living room and it was the most beautiful sea of pink dresses.  I know I am partial to wedding with a pink color scheme, but I could already envision them blowing in the breeze.  Another favorite moment from the day was when Lauren paused from her cocktail hour and brought everyone down to the hotel bar so they could all be witness to California Chrome win the Triple Crown.  Alas, he didn't win, but Lauren and Michael's guests went on to have a blast at their reception anyway.  Oh...and let's not forget the delicious cookie bar, where guests could fill their bags up with a midnight snack!

Congratulations, Lauren & Michael!!!

Much Love,
Aubrey
