Sometimes, Sneak Peek Monday can't wait until Monday because the images are just too beautiful...so it has to go up on Sunday! Here is a peek at Chelsea & Kristen's beautiful wedding at Mount Hope Farm yesterday.
A couple weeks ago my baby boy turned three...YES THREE! I can't believe it! Last year I challenged myself to a two week, party-planning extravaganza and it turned out great, but it was exhausting. You can see the post here! Within days of the amazing farm party being over, Maxwell was already brainstorming and asked to have a train party next year...
Pinterest, once again, had me pinning for an entire year. Etsy had me scrolling through pages and pages of other peoples crafty details. It is incredibly hard to design a train party that is not based on Thomas, but because my son doesn't have a clue who Thomas is (...and I like it that way)...I did most of the crafting myself. Little, by little, over the course of a few months, the party came together. Having Maxwell's birthday smack dab in the middle of my busiest month is hard, but I would do anything for him. So if the boy wants a train party...he will get a train party!
The party could not have happened with out the help of my amazing family. While I didn't think anything could be better than last years homemade tractor, Matt totally outdid himself with a beautiful train, complete with rivets. On the day of, my best friend and my mom were such a great help with filling balloons and baking brownies.
In the end, I was so happy with how everything came out. Maxwell loved it and honestly, that is all that matters!
So here it is... All Aboard!!!

Fall is here and I am thrilled. I love the air a little cooler and the leaves changing color. I love the change in wedding colors from pinks to purples. Gina and Evan were married just before the arrival of fall and their colors were perfectly paired with the changing of the seasons.
While I adore Gina's bridesmaids in purple, floor-length gowns, I adore their families even more! Evan is the brother of Rick, whose wedding I had the honor or photographing last year. Having their family in my life has been a blessing and it was so wonderful to be surrounded by them once again. With the addition of Gina's family and friends, it was truly an beautiful event at Harbor Lights. It was also quite the party! Friend and DJ, Jeff Jackson, had the dance floor packed all night long playing so many 90's classics it was hard not to join in! ;)
Congratulations, Gina & Evan!
